What data is accessed: The Tool accesses QuickBooks Online accounting data (such as invoices, bills, vendors, customers, expenses, and financial reports) belonging solely to Shell Campground’s own QuickBooks company, using OAuth credentials authorized directly by the business owner.
How data is used: Data retrieved from QuickBooks is processed by Claude, an AI assistant provided by Anthropic, to help the business owner review, categorize, and record bookkeeping transactions such as expenses and bills on behalf of Shell Campground.
Data sharing: Data is not sold, and is not shared with any third party other than Anthropic (as the AI service provider) and Intuit (as the QuickBooks platform provider), solely for the purpose of operating this internal Tool.
No external users: This Tool is not made available to the public or to Shell Campground’s guests or customers. It is used only by the business owner and authorized staff.
Data retention: Financial documents such as receipts and bills processed by the Tool are stored locally on the business owner’s own device.
