Despite a very busy summer season, from time to time we are able to sneak away from the campground to enjoy our incredible scenery.  In July we snuck away one afternoon to visit Paradise Falls in the Bighorn National Forest. It is a relatively easy hike and only a couple of miles roundtrip from the parking area. We suggest packing a lunch. The large flat granite areas at the top of the falls make a great place to have a picnic and soak in the view!

To get there from the campground, head towards at the mountain on US Highway 14. At Burgess Junction, turn left onto US Highway 14A. In about 15 miles, turn left onto USFS 121. The trail begins at the end of the road.
