Cabins are available year around so we can
not only accommodate campers during the warmer months, but also snowmobilers and
skiers during the winter months.
Welcome to Shell Campground. Your host Dan Tau will greet you at
our main office. You can also find area info of all kinds here. |
Our cabins are spacious and heated for your wintertime snowmobile
and skiing excursions. |
All of our cabins are duplex style cabins. Each unit has a 3/4
bath including a shower, toilet, and sink. |

Our cabin interiors are all constructed of native
Wyoming pine which we have left in its natural finish. Each cabin
has a different decorating theme used and that theme is where your cabin
name comes from. Shown here are the Wolf and Eagle cabins.
Each of the cabins has a spacious front porch so you can relax and watch
the sunset and each cabin also has radiant heat in the floor to maintain
comfort during the cold winter months when Shell Campground has many
visitors that enjoy outdoor winter activities including snowmobile riding
and skiing. |

Shell Campground also accommodates RV and tent
camping. Our RV sites have full hookup capability and our tent
sites are spacious and are on clear level ground. Diggers from the
Virginia Museum of Natural History make Shell Campground their home when
they are not out at the dig sites. |
